Call for Comments on the draft Department Circular titled, “Prescribing the Guidelines for Opt-in Mechanism under Green Energy Auction Program in the Philippines"

The Department of Energy, through the Renewable Energy Management Bureau, solicits comments and inputs on the draft Department Circular titled, “Prescribing the Guidelines for Opt-in Mechanism under Green Energy Auction Program in the Philippines.”

WHEREAS, Section 2 of Republic Act (RA) No. 7638 or the Department of Energy (DOE) Act of 1992 declares the policy of the State to ensure a continuous, adequate, and economic supply of energy with the end in view of ultimately achieving self-reliance in the country's energy requirements through the integrated and intensive exploration, production, management, and development of the country's indigenous energy resources, and through the judicious conservation, renewal, and efficient utilization of energy to keep pace with the country's growth and economic development.

Call for Comments on the Draft Department Circular “Providing Specific Auction Policy and Guidelines for Non-FIT Eligible RE technologies in the Green Energy Auction Program”

The Department of Energy is hereby requesting all interested parties to submit their comments and inputs on the draft Department Circular titled, “Providing Specific Auction Policy and Guidelines for Non-FIT Eligible RE technologies in the Green Energy Auction Program”.

The Department of Energy through the Renewable Energy Management Bureau is hereby requesting all On-grid Mandated Participants to submit their individual 2023 RPS Requirement and Compliance Form.
