Power Situation Update 16 April 2019 (as of 8:00 AM)

I. Grid Condition Issuances

The NGCP issued a NORMAL CONDITION for the Luzon Grid today.

This is due to the coming in of Sual Unit 1. A normal condition for the system means there will be no power interruptions.

II. Forced Outages and Derated Plants

Please refer to the table for the updated list of power plants that are derated and on forced outage.

* Any additional forced outage or de-ration of plants will worsen the situation, while more participation in the ILP or efficiency in the use of electricity by the consumers will help the system.

The DOE will continue to update the public on further developments.
