Electric Vehicle Technical Service and Management Section (EVTSMS)
General duty: formulates and updates the Comprehensive Roadmap for the Electric Vehicle Industry (CREVI), including the technical support for LGUs and all stakeholders.
Specific duties:
- Control the drafting and updating of the CREVI;
- Administer the evaluation and monitoring of the implementation of the CREVI and related programs;

Provision of technical assistance to LGUs and other government agencies and supervising the conduct of researches on EV technologies to be used in these
government units/agencies; - Provision of technical support to the technical working group and acts as its Secretariat
- Oversee programs on EV and EVCs deployment.
- Oversee the collaboration with relevant government agencies, financial institutions, academe, , power and other industry organizations, professional associations, consumer groups, civil societies, NGOs, foreign-based organizations, suppliers, vendors and associations of EV products and services, among others.
- Supervise and prepare annual budget and procurement plans, and monitoring of budget utilization.
- Take charge of the preparation and submission of the section’s accomplishment reports including the EVIM Division's report.
- Performs other ad hoc functions as may be assigned from time-to-time.
Electric Vehicle Industry Standards and Policy Section (EVISPS)
General duty: Reviews, formulates and develops standards, including performance standards of existing electric vehicles.
Specific duties:
- Review, formulates and develop standards, including performance standards of existing electric vehicles/EV charging stations;
- Formulate policy recommendations and implements policies, plans and programs on electric vehicle standards development;
- Conduct research studies on current issues, development and emerging trends especially on latest EV standards.
- Collaboration with relevant government agencies, financial institutions, academic and training institutions, power and other industry organizations, professional associations, consumer groups, civil societies, non-government organizations, foreign-based organizations, suppliers, vendors and associations regarding electric vehicle standards, among others.
- Performs other ad hoc functions as may be assigned from time-to time.
