The PELP Online Registration System was launched on August 12, 2021, which started with the PELP Company Registration, followed by the start of PELP Product Registration and Energy Label Issuance. All manufacturers, importers and distributors of energy-consuming products (ECPs) are enjoined to register their existing and upcoming product models to the PELP System.

As of September 30, 2022, a total of sixty-one (61) companies have successfully registered in the PELP system, and 2,010 energy consuming products have been approved and registered under the PELP. Furthermore, the DOE has issued a total of 1,713 energy labels for air conditioners (690 models), lighting products (450 models), refrigerators (285 models) and television sets (288 models).
