WHEREAS, Section 32 of Republic Act (R.A.) No. 9513 or the Renewable Energy Act of 2008 (An Act Promoting the Development, Utilization and Commercialization of Renewable Energy Resources and For Other Purposes) creates the Renewable Energy Management Bureau (REMB) under the DOE and dissolves the Renewable Energy Management Division of the Energy Utilization Management Bureau whose plantilla shall form the nucleus of the REMB;
