Call for Comments on the Proposed Amendments to the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) Rules and Market Manuals

CALL FOR COMMENTS:

The Department of Energy is hereby requesting all interested parties to submit their comments on the draft Department Circulars:

  1. Adopting Further Amendments to the WESM Rules and its Market Manuals for the implementation of Enhancements to WESM Design and Operations (Provisions for Market Surveillance, Enforcement and Compliance);
  2. Providing Policies for the Adoption of the WESM Penalty Manual for the Implementation of Enhancements to WESM Design and Operations; and
  3. Adopting Further Amendments to the WESM Rules and Market Manual on Guidelines on Significant Variations in and between Trading Intervals to Refine Publication Procedures.
